6 medium eggs, beaten.
3 cups of sugar.
2 ¼ cups of flour.
1 cup of melted margarine.
6 tablespoons of cocoa powder.
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence.
1 ½ teaspoons of salt.
1 teaspoon of baking powder.
2 cups of broken walnuts.
Pre-heat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Mix together the melted margarine,
cocoa, and sugar.
Stir in the beaten eggs.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt and baking powder then add to the
other mixture.
Add the vanilla and walnuts.
Bake in a greased and floured 18 x 12 inch tray at for 20 minutes.
Serve warm with a dollop of freshly whipped cream or a spponful good vanilla ice-cream.
